LOCATION: Las Vegas, Nevada

SUBJECT: Palazzo Luxury Suite - Sleeping Area

Again, a subtle yet contrasting change in tone. Bright linens on the bed, dark woodgrain on the headboard. Notice the table next to the bed - it's two-thirds of a circle, hollow on the inside, with a very dark wood grain. The only way to get light in there to accentuate the feature was to pump a small but powerful light, diffused enough to create a complimentary highlight.

Spot lighting was used to separate the far side of the bed from the wall, and to dramatically separate the furniture at the end of the bed from the carpet. It's these little lighting touches that shows The Palazzo suite in a properly dramatic way - bold lighting for a bold suite.

We're not exactly sure which manufacture they use for their linens and mattress, but suffice it to say, once you're tucked in, there's no coming out until morning. Well, closer to noon. After all, it's Las Vegas.
