SUBJECT: Meeting Room / Theater Style

Nothing makes a photographers' job easier than a newly refurbished location that's in great condition. Face it - we start with good bone structure and the model will be that much more gorgeous. Same goes with the properties we shoot. Larkspur had just renovated their meeting space, installing a large flat screen and a beautiful dark wood finish.

The toughest thing about getting a straight-on angle such as this comes from the spacing and alignment of the chairs. We also try to utilize the screens (both tv and projection) as opportunities to reinforce branding of the property. We also strive to light the room properly to provide lighting from underneath the chairs so the carpet doesn't go dark - a common problem when shooting theater style setups.

This particular Larkspur Landing location is a stones throw from Intel's headquarters, and the property worked hard to create this space - a nice blend of high tech and complementary tones and colors. Our biggest challenge was not tweaking out on the coffee they provided for us, a very nice Columbian blend that was too hard to resist... again, and again, and again.
