HOTEL: Encore at the Wynn

LOCATION: Las Vegas, Nevada

SUBJECT: Office, Deluxe Suite

Drama with a softer edge was used in brining out the more subtle tones and features of the office area within the suite. Notice while we still incorporated pooled mood lighting, the angles were less defined as they were in the living area. the carpet to the far right was light from the side instead of behind, and the shadows included deeper detail and less angle.

Still, side and angled lighting patterns brought out the curve of the chair back, the woven texture on the wall to the right, and emphasized the leather chairs and light wood on the desk.

Notice the laptop on the desk - its actually a Macintosh "air" series - with the glowing Apple logo appearing in the middle of the rear screen. We touched that out, as while we are Apple fans, the only branding we like having in our hotel images are that of the hotel itself.

Both the office and the living area are side by side, and had to be styled and prepared late in the afternoon - and shot in a quick and efficient manner so as not to lose the colorful sky at sunset. Thank goodness for those long desert sunsets!
