SUBJECT: Ahnala Mesquite Room

The Mesquite Room inside the Ahnala Restaurant is a great area for guests to relax and enjoy an adult beverage or two. Our ability throw back a martini was hindered only by the fact that it was business first. A shot like this needs a clear head and a lot of coordination with the bar and restaurant staff.

This image was taken after the staff arrived, but before the doors opened for happy hour. The clock was ticking, and wanted to capture the ambience, a food offering, and a beverage presentation, all in a single photo. The staff were all very helpful - and the image was captured within an hour of arriving.

A picture like this is also a bit more tricky than the standard interior photo due to the lighting detail - this is a food, beverage, and interior photo all in one. It's important to accent and detail the lighting to bring out the space's features, but also style and light the food so it's not lost in the larger image.
