PROPERTY: Olea
LOCATION: Portland, Oregon
SUBJECT: Various Menu Items
Richard Glass owns Olea, a tremendously popular restaurant in Portland's Pearl District. He opened the establishment in 2005, had immediate success, and has never looked back. His ability to blend the cuisines of Italy, Spain, and France to create a Mediterranean-inspired menu are lauded by foodies around the Northwest.
Aside from the incredible meals Richard creates, I have another reason to like him. Yes, he is a client, and I appreciate that. But the main reason I like him is that all of his presentations blend colors and textures in a way that compliment my photography. In other words - his meals help make my photography look good. After all, isn't that what its really all about?
We also love Olea's location. Aside from the cool neighborhood, Richard housed his restaurant in a former warehouse space, which provides for insanely tall ceilings, and a second level which houses a private dining area. Other decor touches don the area, such as vintage lighting and beautiful color palate for the dining and bar areas.
